Service Description
Special requirements for classes during Covid. This class is a maximum of four students and picture of vaccination card is required by email or text within 24 hours of signup. There will be NO REFUNDS given if you sign up and do not provide proof of vaccination. (If you have technical difficulty with this, just contact Brad or Camille before signing up and we'll help) If the class is full, you will be removed and the spot opened up until proof is provided. If that happens, you will be signed up for the next available date after proof of vaccination is presented. Masks may also be required in class depending on CDC recommendations. This class is the first in a series of three designed to introduce students to the process of fabricating (constructing) jewelry using techniques such as sawing, filing, soldering, finishing and polishing. No previous experience necessary! SSI focuses on sawing and texturing, with introductions into soldering, filing, and bezel setting. Students will saw out a shape of their choice in the metal sheet (roughly the size of a quarter), Instructor will solder on pre made bezel and student will bezel-set a calibrated cabochon. Class kits run about $45 which is due at the start of class.
