Service Description
This class is the third in a series of three designed to introduce students to the process of fabricating (constructing) jewelry using techniques such as sawing, filing, soldering, finishing and polishing. In SSIII students will be combining the skills they have already learned to fabricate a custom bezel and ring shank to make a ring. Please note: learning to solder, especially pick soldering, is a skill essential to your success in every area of silversmithing! It is recommended (and encouraged!) that you plan on taking this class more than once for maximum retention of information. The good news is that class repeats are ½ off! Prerequisite: Silversmithing II Kit fee runs around $55 Starting summer 2023 we will not be requiring vaccine records. Class descriptions may still need updating and we will re-evaluate as conditions warrant but lets hope things continue to improve! Mask requirements will be based on CDC recommendations. If you have any symptoms prior to a class, please let us know and we will be happy to reschedule you to a later date!
